Guide to ZVCC

Zephyr Valley Community Cooperative is a rural co-housing community with 11 members and 10 kids on 500 acres of stunningly beautiful land in the hill country of southeast Minnesota. The Coop, with 8 original members, bought the land in 1994. We make decisions affecting the Coop as a whole in consensus.

There are seven individual homes; sites for six more homes, a common house; two barns and several outbuildings. There are four ponds, including one for swimming; a creek; wetlands; pastures; bluff & forest lands and 80 acres of land in crops farmed organically.

We hope this Guide will answer many of your questions about living here and joining the Zephyr Valley Community Cooperative. Thanks for your interest.
