There are 122 acres of woodlands, 81 acres of goat prairies and 29 acres of restored wetlands, plus many acres of pastures, high grass meadows, ponds, creeks and a trout stream.
Collectively we show respect in caring for our land, which is held in common. Our goal is to live lightly on the land, preserving its ecological balance and beauty, though there are different
interpretations among us as to what this means exactly. Use of the land is governed by the community's wild spaces policy and land use practices are governed by ZVCC's participation in various federal
& state conservation programs. |
